I suppose that some of you (the visitors) don't know what is SEO and even if you do, you  may not understand how important it is for the web development and advertisment. I'll start from the beginning... SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. Now the question is what stands for it :) well, the term describes the  techniques of preparing a website to enhance its chances of being ranked in the top results of a search engines (like google). In this procedure it's not important how the site looks like (the design), because the bots, which are also called spiders or crawlers, actually steal the content of the web pages and add it to it's database. They "see" only the text, like text browsers, but not the images, animations or etc.

Now, what are the rules for globalwarming awareness2007? - For example, when we try to find something we use the so called keywords, which actually represent the hole information we're looking for. When we enter it the search engines search in their db and try to find coincidences. In our case the keyword is "globalwarming awareness2007" and the object is to achieve the best standings in google, yahoo and msn. Globalwarming awareness2007 gives 10 points for the 1st place, 9 for the 2nd and so on ... the maximum number of points is 30 and winner will be determined on May 1st, 2007.
